We recently caught up with veteran Zambian rapper Holstar to talk about his collaborative EP with Dominant 1, African Diamond. During the quick interview, he broke down the tracks on the EP and explained to us what Africa is to him. He also revealed to us his Top 5 African Rappers Of All Time.

Holstar and Dominant 1 released their critically acclaimed EP African Diamond early this year. The five-track project explored the concept of pan-Africanism.
“It is important for Africans to elevate and embrace our heritage because if we don’t it will be lost.
Music, books, and other media are vital in preserving our culture.”
