According to multiple reports, the famous Nollywood actress Ada Ameh passed away at 48 last night.
She died on Sunday night around 11 pm in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. The actress posted a video of her eating a meal with her companions on Instagram yesterday. “Happy new week, fams. God bless my love. May dreams come true in Jesus Christ’s name,” she wrote.
But death was already on her way at that time and eventually caught her last night. Her fans and followers have stormed the internet and expressed their sorrows upon hearing the devastating news of her demise.
What Was Ada Ameh Death Cause?
Emeka Rollas, the famous President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, verified the death news of the Nigerian actress to The PUNCH over the phone on Monday morning. The primary cause behind the death is assumed to be related to mental health, but so far, no confirmation has been made.
She lost her life on the way to the Nigerian National Petroleum Hospital. Ada was rushed to the hospital after she lost consciousness and fell to the ground. The body is now sent for postpartum, but reports have yet to come.
Similarly, there is no evidence of injuries or markings on her body, suggesting that the cause of her death is sickness rather than murder. Her death came a week after she opened up about her battling depression and suffering from melancholy because she lost seven family members to death.

According to a source who wished to remain anonymous, Ameh was visiting an oil industry executive and his family when she fainted in the mid-way. On Monday morning, numerous Nollywood stars flocked to the facility to view her remnants.

Ada Ameh Daughter Passed Away in 2020
In October 2020, Ada Ameh lost her daughter Aladi, continuing a string of losses in her family. When Ada was barely thirteen, she became pregnant with Aladi, and when Ada was fourteen years old in 1988, she gave birth to her.
Losing a family member is terrible and upsetting. Before losing her daughter two years ago, she had to deal with the deaths of six of her siblings.
Ada has been carrying the trauma with her ever since and has been unable to let it go. She finally bids the world farewell and departs for heaven to meet her daughter.
Speaking with “Your View,” she said that she had lost six of her siblings before her daughter passed away in 2020 and believed her death was imminent too.
