Early Sunday morning, August 5, 2018 Michael Murphy and Sandra DiPretore received the news that no parent should ever hear.
Their two oldest children were involved in a fatal car crash early that morning. The biological dad and his girlfriend were taking them on a car trip to New York. The father and sweet Amberlyn were killed on impact. She was 10.
Amberlyn was born February 18, 2008, to parents, Sandra and Robert. She lit up a room with her beautiful smile, big hugs, and love of Jesus. Amberlyn was silly, goofy, and sassy in a way that you always knew she was there. She loved to sing and was a member of Staples Elementary Choir and the Pathway kids worship team. Amberlyn danced everywhere even the grocery store. She spent time with her friends drawing and creating. Amberlyn started running when she was 5 and ran her first 5k when she was 7. She always looked forward to the Harvest Run. Amberlyn never saw anyone as being different than her, she loved everyone she met. She looked up to her older brother, Zach and loved her baby brother Cooper the way a mamma does.
Amberlyn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Parmer.
