The tragic death of Jeff Gladney has hit the sport world so hard, as he died at the age of 25 in an alleged early morning crash on the Woodall Rogers Freeway’s service road near Dallas.
Deputies were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Woodall Rogers near Allen Street shortly before 2:30 a.m., according to police.
Dispatchers had received reports of a serious collision in the grassy area involving an overturned automobile.
Jeff Gladney is known as an American football cornerback with the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals (NFL). He was a TCU football player in college.
The overturned vehicle was speeding at the time and lost control after colliding with another driver, according to the county sheriff’s department, where Jeff Gladney died. Two people were killed in an early-morning crash on the Woodall Rogers Freeway’s service lane in Dallas.

Deputies arrived on the scene to find two vehicles totaled and two people dead. Officials later verified that a male and a female passenger in one of the automobiles perished in the crash; their names will not be disclosed until they have been positively identified.
According to preliminary evidence, one vehicle was speeding and collided with the second vehicle from behind. The speeding vehicle lost control and collided with the Woodall Rogers Freeway’s pier beam. Two persons were in the second vehicle, although neither was seriously injured.

The former girlfriend of Minnesota Vikings cornerback Jeff Gladney has filed a lawsuit in Dallas alleging he of assaulting her for over two hours in April and then attempted to bribe her with a $1,000 Tiffany’s necklace and a spa gift certificate.
The civil complaint, which wants at least $1 million in damages, adds to Gladney’s legal woes, as he faces a grand jury hearing on Thursday.
After being charged with criminal assault, he could be formally indicted soon. After the April incident, he surrendered to Dallas authorities.
Gladney, a TCU graduate, and former first-round draft pick could not be reached for comment. Messages to his agent and attorney seeking comment were not returned.
