Amy Grant Hospitalized – Amy Lee Grant is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. She began in contemporary Christian music before crossing over to pop music in the 1980s and 1990s. She has been referred to as “The Queen of Christian Pop”.
She was transported by ambulance to a Nashville area hospital following a bicycle accident Wednesday afternoon.
Grant’s publicist said the accident occurred around 3 p.m. near Old Hickory Blvd in Nashville, home to the Harpeth Hills Golf Course.
The “Baby, Baby” singer was riding with a friend near the golf course when she went down.
The 61-year-old was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt Medical Center where she was treated in the emergency room for lacerations and abrasions.
Her management team reported that “She was wearing a helmet but has cuts, lacerations and bruises. She is currently in the hospital in stable condition.”
