Andrew Stewart Barton, a 22-year-old Lakewood, Washington resident, passed away on May 20, 2022. There was no mention of a cause of death. Andrew was born in Lakewood, Washington on March 14, 2000.
He earned a BA in biology from the University of Portland in 2022 after graduating from Lakes High School in Lakewood. He received his EMT certification from Unitek and is licensed in Washington and Oregon.
Andrew is employed by Metro West in Portland as a paramedic. He was an Eagle Scout with bronze and gold palm medals, as well as an elected member of the Order of the Arrow, a Boy Scouts of America honor organization. He was the Assistant Chief Scout and First Aid Coach for BSA Troop 71. He enjoys being outside, especially hiking, camping, and creating campfires.
He is a fly fisher, kayaker, YMCA lifeguard, knife maker, kickboxing coach and captain of the West Sound Warriors ice hockey team. Andrew enjoys studying and lecturing in most subjects, playing board and video games.
