Robert Carl Ignatius Katter is a well-known and respected politician from Australia.
From 2012-2017, Robert represents Traeger in the Queensland Legislative Assembly, having previously represented Mount Isa from.
Robbie Katter, who succeeded his father Bob Katter as leader of Katter’s Australia Party in February 2020, is the party’s current leader.
Robert defeated Labor incumbent Betty Kiernan in Mount Isa, putting her in third place, in the 2012 state election, and has gained more recognition through his family name.
He became Queensland leader of his father’s party after his election to the Legislative Assembly, and however, on November 29, 2012, it was reported that he had been superseded as a leader by Ray Hopper, who would become the party’s “parliamentary secretary.”
