Eventually, his overweight brought in health problems making him opt-out of many programs. He had withdrawn from SNL on February 5, 2000, where he was set to appear with Fat Joe and Jennifer Lopez. After two days, Big Punisher suffered a heart attack and respiratory failure.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died as paramedics could not revive him. His weight had reached a peak of 698 pounds at the time of his death.
