Ahead of Big Sean’s appearance on Drink Champs, N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN have shared a preview of their interview with the Detroit rapper.
In a new Instagram teaser for the interview, which airs Thursday night on Revolt, Big Sean spoke about his relationship with Jhené Aiko, going triple platinum and addressed comments made by Kanye West during his Drink Champs interview back in November, where Ye said signing Sean to G.O.O.D. Music was “the worst thing I’ve ever done.”
“I love Kanye, bro,” Sean said. “I love him for the opportunity he gave me, and all these things. But I thought what he said was some bitch ass shit.”
During his Drink Champs appearance last month, Kanye, while holding a “R.I.P.” headstone prop said “I already decided that when I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna say, ‘I deserve to be here because I signed Big Sean.’”
In the trailer, Big Sean can be seen flinging the prop headstone while saying, “F-ck this shit. F-ck what he talking about.”
Ye’s issues with Sean seemingly started after Big Sean and John Legend failed to support him during his 2020 presidential bid. “I know this man mama, bro. I’ve changed this man’s family and both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at they boy that actually changed their life,” Kanye said. “And that’s some sell-out shit. And I don’t rock with neither of them.”
