His father claims that his son was dragged out of his home, while he was punched by the police personnel when he was going to record a video.

His father has made a Fir against the Punjab Police for kidnapping his son due to which they have handed over Tejinder to the Delhi police. Similarly, his father told that this arrest was out of nowhere, and he was thrashed by the police too.
It has also come into the limelight that the arrest was done after Tejinder refused to cooperate with the investigation even after notices were sent to him five times.
