Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia served up the most chaotic Verzuz yet when they faced off on Thursday night (Dec. 2), live from the Hollywood Palladium in California.
Fans were treated to a night of nostalgia and epic trash talking from both sides as they duked it out for verzuz supremacy. The mannequin-like L.A. crowd showed almost no excitement for some of the classic cuts being performed, which made fans and viewers question the choice of venue.
Still, both groups had enough charisma, hits and surprises to carry the show.
The much anticipated Verzuz lived up to its billing and then some. Despite the late start Thursday’s verzuz hosted by DJ Scratch had everything including strippers, a moshpit and an altercation that was eventually settled.
Because of it’s chaotic nature, many social media users are convinced this was one of the most entertaining verzuz they have watched.
One twitter user wrote, “It was the best one this year! But….. don’t do it in LA unless it’s West Coast artists… second, that DJ mix and video premiere was. But I know y’all hate the fight broke out? But dat intensified it! I’ll definitely remember this one from 2 of my favorite groups.”
Another Twitter user wrote, “BEST VERZUS EVER!!! Fights. Lil Wayne. Wiz Khalifa. Lil Flip. Chamillionaire. Young Buc. 8ball & MJG. Lil Jon. Lil chat. Project Pat. Bone. Duke duece. Gangsta boo. Lil Eazy E. Three Six Mafia. Freestyles. Strippers. Terrence Howard. Holy sh-t.”
The show ended with a performance of ‘Crossroads,’ which was performed in honor of some lost figures including Young Dolph, Virgil Abloh, Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.
The episode was available to watch on Fite, Instagram and YouTube, However, Verzuz confirmed on Twitter that they’ll be “No replay available for this show.”
