Brandon Rolfe, aged 23 years old was reportedly apprehended at midnight on Saturday for firing multiple rounds into an open throng at Armory Square.
A total of ten individuals were injured as a result of open fire, and one person lost his life as a result of the shooting incident. The dead has been identified as Akok Lual, a 24-year-old boy, Police officers are attempting to establish a link between the suspect and the deceased, but no leads have been found. Meanwhile, four other victims with serious injuries were taken to a nearby medical centre for treatment.
The suspect is currently in police custody and is facing several felony charges. Brandon Rolfe has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, and gun possession and the suspect is set to appear in court on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022.
