Those of you already familiar with Bryan Bandit’s work will be aware of his undeniable talent. Hailing from Louisville Kentucky, the rapper finds ways to curate his intricate lyrics over eye-popping beats in a way that is unseen among most up-and-coming artists, and his latest track Finishing Move reflects this.
As the track creeps into play with simplistic piano keys and punching hi-hats Bandit’s rough, deep vocals and smooth flow come into play, reminiscent of a young Tyler, The Creator. The beat, curated by Grade A compliments Bandit’s vocals well allowing his lyrics and frustrations to be expressed whilst not overpowering his message. The production skills are second to none with the blaring gunshots opening the track letting you know from the off what the tone of this single will be.
Bryan reflects on his own struggle throughout the track, using that as inspiration for driving himself to achieving his goals. The only thing that is missing are more bars, but this keeps us on the edge of our seats as we eagerly anticipate his next move.
