Talk about attention seeking. Cassidy needlessly releases a Tory Lanez diss track after Lanez jacked his bars and used them during a recent Funk Flex freestyle.
Despite Tory rapping over Cass’ famous “I’m A Hustla” beat, Cassidy wasn’t impressed. The Philly rapper accused him of stealing his flow and lyrics in both his recent freestyle, and also during his visit on Funk Flex show in 2017 when he rapped over Nas’ ‘Oochie Wally’ beat.
Tory responded to Cassidy’s snide remarks, claiming those were his own ways of paying homage to Cass, who he called one of his “favorite rappers.”
“U are one of my favorite raappers Cass ….. what’s the problem?” he wrote in the comments. “I guess this is what happens when u try to pay homage ….. the first freestyle I shouted ya name out becuz u did inspire me. The second one I went on YOUR beat. Shit is sad how U old n-ggas be mad at the young n-ggas for not showing love then when we do … we get responses like this.”
Cassidy has ignored Lanez’s comments and have put out a diss track that disrespects Tory’s pen game. He also refrences the Megan Thee Stallion shooting. “F-ck all the hype you been a bitch all your life, But to shoot a chick push you into harlem nights.”
