Charles Vitolo Death – Obituary: Police reported that on Tuesday afternoon they discovered the body of a Ventnor man rotting inside a car that was parked outside a motel in West Atlantic City.
According to a news release from the police on Wednesday, officers were called to the Ramada Inn on the Black Horse Pike after Charles Vitolo, 32,’s body was discovered inside the car in the parking area of the motel.
Police Capt. Heath Per said the caller informed authorities that they discovered the person lying in one of the car’s seats and that the car was emitting a bad smell.
Vitolo’s death is thought to have been caused by a drug overdose, although investigators are still looking into the matter.
According to Per, Vitolo’s body may have spent several days inside the car.
