Tee Grizzley’s Aunt Killed In Detroit Shooting
Tee Grizzley’s aunt, who is also his manager, Jobina Brown, was shot and killed in Detroit on Tuesday night (Aug. 20).
According to multiple reports, a gunman opened fire on Grizzley’s Cadillac Escalade while the vehicle was traveling around Detroit. The gunman allegedly approached on foot and shot Brown, who was sitting in the back seat, in her left side.
TMZ reports Tee Grizzley was getting out of the front passenger seat as the shooter approached on foot and pulled the trigger, hitting Jobina in her left side. The driver of the SUV told cops he heard Jobina Brown scream right before 3 to 4 shots were fired.
Brown was rushed to a local hospital but died from her wounds. She was 41 years old.
On Friday (Aug. 23), Tee shared a video to his IG paying respects to his late aunt.
“Since I was 12,” he wrote in the caption. “We been going everywhere together how you gone go to heaven without me???? Idek what to say JB I just wanted to show the world yo smile I love you so much.”
Barack Obama Shares Summer Playlist
On Saturday morning (August 24), Ex U.S president, Barack Obama shared his annual summer playlist.
The 44-track playlist featured artists such as Drake, Stevie Wonder, Lizzo, Lauryn Hill, 2 Chainz, SZA, Mac Miller, Ella Mai, Lil Nas X, Q-Tip and A Tribe Called Quest.
“With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to—some new, some old, some fast, some slow,” Obama said about the playlist. “Hope you enjoy.”

Chris Brown and Ammika Harris Having a Baby Boy
Chris Brown and his ex-girlfriend, Ammika Harris are expecting a child, TMZ reports.
Rumors of the couple having their first child together started making the rounds back in May, when Chris commented “BM BAD” on one of Harris’ IG photos.
Despite no longer being together, Brown and Harris reportedly get along well. She’s said to be happy with the way the polarizing singer treats her financially, medically and emotionally.
The child, reportedly a boy will be Harris’ first child. Chris already has a really cute 5-year old daughter, Royalty, who he shares with Nia Guzman.
The child is reportedly due this fall.
Young Thug Compares ‘Punk’ Album to 2Pac
Young Thug just released his debut album “So Much Fun,” but he isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Thugger revealed plans for his next project, Punk.
“So Much Fun is like nothing to be thought about. It’s only for fun purposes,” said Thug. “The name of the album is directly what it means. There’s no static to it. It’s just so much fun. I don’t even want you to think when you listen to this even if I’m saying a metaphorical bars or anything. I don’t want it to be nothing thought too hard about. I want it to be only party.”
“The difference from that and Punk is Punk is me letting them in on my real life,” he added. “Me letting them know all the situations I’ve been through. Opening up, letting the fans in, I feel like I never let ’em. I feel like I was always quit about certain things, because of people.”
He also hinted that Punk takes influence from Tupac. “My best album would probably be Punk, because it’s more like real life. It’s more like Tupac,” he said. “Tupac c
ould be one of the biggest rappers in the world, because he rapped what he rapped about. I had conversations with JAY-Z and he told me, ‘We gotta learn how to continue what Pac had going. Pac was a teacher. Pac teaches.’”

He continued, “This album Punk that I’m going to put out soon is probably going to be the best album, because it really teaches you, gives you life situations, it’s teaching I’m human. I am you. I am him. It’s very verbal. I think it’ll probably be the best album even though it’s not out.”
