The tragic death of Desai Williams has hit the world so hard, he is known as the former Canadian sprinter who acquired an Olympic bronze medal in 4 x 100 metres relay.
Desai was once a worker as the speed coach for the Toronto Argonauts. In fact, he was one of the most respected sprint coaches in eastern Canada.
Desai has also impacted lives if people, some of his students as a training coach include Olympic athletes Tremaine Harris, Phylicia George, and Justyn Warner.
In 2015, Desai was fired as a coach by Athletics Canada in 2015 after a probe uncovered that he had reportedly violated the organization’s sexual harassment policy.
