Eminem is inarguably one of the most disrespected rappers in hip hop. Despite earning his stripes as one of rap’s most revered names, people still question his position as a top ten rapper.
Drake, who is a huge fan of the Detroit legend took to his Instagram story on Thursday (Oct. 28) to let the world know how he feels about Eminem. While watching clips from 2000’s legendary Up In Smoke Tour, the OVO rap boss made sure to give the Shady rapper his flowers.
“Man this guy is under appreciated,” he captioned a photo of Eminem.
Drake and Eminem have always had mutual respect for each other, ever since “Forever” in 2009. This also won’t be the first time Drake will be paying homage to Eminem. Back in 2018 the 6 god brought out the rap god during his Summer Sixteen Tour stop in Detroit, amidst speculations of a beef between the two. Em performed his verse on ‘Forever’ afterwards Drake proclaimed him the G.O.A.T.
Drake’s public admiration for Eminem comes just days after Snoop Dogg revealed he apologized to Eminem for saying people only rate him due to his affiliations with Dr. Dre.
“I felt like I was out of pocket. I apologized to him and I let him know that I’m just bettering myself. I make mistakes, I ain’t perfect, I’m Snoop Dogg.”
