Despite receiving mixed reviews from fans and critics alike, Eminem’s Revival still sits comfortably at the No. 4 position on Billboard’s 200 chart. The album which debuted at No. 1 featured appearances from Pink, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Skyler Grey, PHresher, Kehlani and X Ambassadors. 2 Chainz who was widely touted to be a guest feature on “Chloraseptic” was left out of the project entirely because it “ended up not working out.”
Eminem decides to make amends by unleashing a remix to “Chloraseptic” featuring 2 Chainz and new verses from himself and PHresher who was featured on the album version.
On the remix, Shady chooses to call out the naysayers for calling his album trash. “You just called my shit trash, thank God, I rap better when the odds are stacked / ‘Revival’s wack, I don’t like the ‘Zombie’ track / And when he’s talking that garbage, like how to crap / Where’s your content at,” he raps. “What’s with all the conscious rap? / Pink, Beyoncé, this, and Kehlani that’ / I just added to the fuel in my rocket pack / Until I’m ready to respond, then I’ma launch it at ’em.”
He also bragged about outselling his competition. “I took a stand, went at Tan Face and practically cut my motherfuckin’ fanbase in half and still outsold you.”
