Eminem may be gearing up to drop another installment of his Marshall Mathers LP series.
Em’s frequent collaborator, Fredwreck, fueled speculation after posting a drawing of the Detroit rapper’s childhood home on his Instagram Story. The drawing was the same image used for the original cover of the first and second installment of The Marshall Mathers LP.
According to an Eminem Reddit user, Fredwreck also shared a photo of a building with an address number of 1001, which fans believe could be pointing to a October 1 release date.
Sounds like a stretch but some of these fans are really good at what they do.
Another frequent Eminem collaborator Skyler Grey added to the speculations when she shared an image of herself Monday (Sept. 20) with the caption… “Can’t wait for October 1st… mark your calendar.”
Additionally Mozzy’s manager recently revealed that his client had been in the studio with both Eminem and Polo G. Cooking something for the new album, possibly? maybe not.
Another interesting theory is Eminem could be dropping new music in support of the soundtrack to Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which hits theaters October 1. Em recorded the title track for the 2018 Marvel film, which appeared on the film’s soundtrack and also on his Kamikaze album.
Eminem has a recent history of dropping albums unannounced so the speculations may not entirely be far-fetched. His last two projects 2018’s Kamikaze and January’s Music To Be Murdered By: Side B were released without warnings.
Eminem released the Marshall Mathers LP II in 2013.
