Fancy Renee Castro and Ray Segura Death – We are deeply saddened and devastated to announce the deaths of Fancy Renee Castro, 30, and Ray Segura, 33, of Bakersfield, California, have been identified as the victims in a Monday double-fatal vehicle crash in Kern County.
Fancy Renee Castro and Ray Segura both died in a two-vehicle crash near Bakersfield early Monday morning.
Ray Segura was operating a Kia with Castro as his passenger on Highway 155/Garces Highway near Melcher Road in Delano, when the vehicle was struck by a Dodge that failed to observe a posted stop sign around 2 a.m. Monday.
Three occupants of the Dodge were transported to area hospitals with moderate to major injuries.
Segura and Castro both died of injuries suffered in the crash.
