Kanye West dropped DONDA, his 10th studio album during the early hours of Sunday (Aug. 29) and fans are losing it.
The often delayed project was slated for release on July 23 following Ye’s first livestream event at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but was rescheduled to August 6.
After weeks of delays and a third livestream event at Chicago’s Soldier Field, the album is finally here.
The new project is almost 2 hours long and includes collaborations with the likes of Jay-Z, DaBaby, Jay Electronica, Kid Cudi, Baby Keem, Chris Brown, The Lox, Lil Durk, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Fivio Foreign and his Sunday Service Choir.
Hours before “Donda’s” release Kanye revealed that the album was being held up by DaBaby’s manager who refused to clear Baby’s verse on “Jail.”
The song still hasn’t been cleared, but with Certified Lover Boy reportedly dropping this Friday, Ye couldn’t afford another push back and has made the album available to DSPs.
It’s been a stressful roll out for Kanye fans who have waited months for the album’s arrival. Checkout some fan reactions to West’s tenth album below.
