Five Steez and Mordecai release a cinematic clip for their HeatRockz 2.0 track A.B.S.
Directed by Kinematix studios, The video depicts Five Steez as a rebel soldier being investigated by Mordecai, who plays a secret agent.
“I love action movies and we got to make one of our own right here,” says Five Steez, about the video which was shot at undisclosed locations across Kingston.
Mordecai adds, “We had a wild idea and Kinematix helped us bring it to life and make something unique.”
The music video opens with a shirtless Five Steez tied up in a basement, defiantly rapping despite being beat up.
“Respected by people in the mainstream/But me and dem don’t have the same dream,” Steez raps. “I’m in the culture and the history books/Now it’s time to get my account like Diddy’s look.”
A.B.S. can be found on HeatRockz 2.0, the follow up to Five Steez and Mordecai’s HeatRockz EP released in 2016.
