Harry Styles is getting back to acting in a big way because he’s taking on the role of Thanos’ brother in Marvel’s forthcoming superhero movie “Eternals.”
Variety’s Matt Donnelly excitedly broke the news on Twitter saying Harry has joined the MCU as Thanos’ sibling, Eros.
“Big reveal from #TheEternals premiere — Harry Styles has joined the MCU as Eros, brother of Thanos,” he tweeted.
Most fans weren’t happy with the reveal as they considered it a spoiler.
The former One Direction member is currently on tour and as a result was unable to attend the red carpet event, which took place in L.A. on Monday.
Harry is not part of the main cast and is appearance could very well be a surprise at the end. As for costume… Eros, who also doubles as “Starfox” when in hero mode, looks more or less like a human so Harry might not need a full-blown Hollywood transformation.
