It’s clap back season.
Head of A&R at Rockstarr Music Group, Reginald Saunders is accusing Nicki Minaj of being a clout chaser.
Saunders, via Instagram called out the Megatron rapper for failing to support the collaboration she recorded with Trina “BAPS,” from the latter’s “The One” album.
“I want to address the issue so bad about this #BAPS record and VIDEO and it’s taking everything inside of me to remain quiet,” he wrote. “This isn’t the first time @nickiminaj has pulled this stunt and trust me it’s cool. I can’t get over how fake people can be for a Lil fame , likes and followers. when everyone tried to warn me I still gave her the benefit of the doubt.”
“I mostly feel sorry for the #barbs because they have no clue of the deceiver and manipulator their leader is.” He included the hashtag #myvotegoestoCARDIB, in reference to Nicki’s ongoing rivalry with the Invasion of Privacy rapper.
Saunders grievance with Nicki Minaj stems from the Barbz leader’s lack of interest in shooting a video for BAPS, but was quick to shoot one for Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer”, which came out last week.
Nicki caught wind of Saunders IG post and she briefly addressed it on her Queen radio show. “Right now Trina’s camp is accusing me of not doing enough to push her song ‘Baps,'” she said bemused. “I have my own schedule and I also have to worry about what makes not only sense/cents but dollars. And it’s not fair that people don’t understand that. I would never have someone from my team disrespect somebody that has been nothing but real to me.”
“Until you are no longer a human being you will always care. The people that I helped are the ones that start the narrative, so that’s the problem. And I can so much that I don’t. But I will say I’m not addressing men anymore, address my husband,” she added.
Reginald Saunders wasn’t the only one to get a mouthful from Nicki. Joe Budden, who was a guest on Yesterday’s episode of Queen Radio became a trending topic on Twitter after a heated exchange with the leader of the Barbz pack.
Budden previously accused Minaj of taking drugs and “popping pills” last summer, an accusation he reiterated during the show. “Your entire last album did that. Your past is littered with it,” Joe said. “Don’t sit here and act like you’ve never popped a pill.”
Joe’s snidely remarks forced the 36-year old to react angrily.
“I never said that you dumb fuck! Cut his fucking mic since you wanna be dumb!” Nicki said in distaste. “Are you that fucking dumb?”
“You like tearing down women when they can’t defend themselves,’ she continued before Budden’s mic was cut off. “He’s so used to thinking he’s the smartest person in the room.”
Budden was later kicked off the show.
Nicki clarified that their argument was over “Mototsport” and not drugs like originally alluded.
I’ll post the full Joe section cuz the blogs posted the drugs part knowing damn well it’s misleading. We were discussing him lying on Motorsport & saying I’m lying about HotGirlSummer— MEGATRON (@NICKIMINAJ) August 12, 2019
