Just when you thought radio was dead, artists like Drake, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean and now Lil Wayne are bringing it back. On Tuesday (March 28) Lil Tunechi officially launched his Young Money Radio on digital radio network, Dash Radio.
For the inaugural episode, Wayne premiered his Young Money signee, Hoody Baby’s brand new mixtape, Kitchen 24: Slangin’ Off. Out now, the project hosted by DJ Drama features contributions from Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Timbaland, Lil Wayne, Yo Gotti, Kevin Gates and more.
One of the standouts off the project is this bonus track titled Flexing featuring Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Quavo and Gudda Gudda.
The song is largely disappointing despite Chris Brown’s laudable efforts on the hook. But don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself.
