Speculations that David Banda is gay have spread like wildfire after his recent appearance in the Adidas x Gucci collection.
Madonna’s son, David Banda, recently made waves when he showed off his Adidas-striped match with his mother.
On Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the Queen of Pop and her son wore matching athletic-inspired attire to the WBA World Lightweight Championship.
Banda, meanwhile, wore a tomato-red three-stripe dress from Adidas’ much-anticipated Gucci collaboration and has never shied away from a gender-fluid fashion moment.
Madonna’s 16-year-old kid looked great in a red Adidas x Gucci T-shirt ensemble.
David Banda is not a gay man. Since he hasn’t published a verified statement clarifying his sexuality. David, on the other hand, has never spoken out about his sexuality in public.
Furthermore, all of these speculations may have developed as a result of his most recent outing on Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the WBA World Lightweight Championship.
The mother-son duo sported matching clothes, complete with several necklaces and bright sunglasses (yellow for David and pink for the Material Girl) (Vivienne Westwood pendants for the teen, diamond-encrusted chains and crosses for his mother).
Furthermore, David’s gender-fluid fashion moment may have aroused doubts about his sexuality.
David, who was born on September 24, 2005, in Malawi, a country in southern Africa, is 16 years old.
When his mother died, Yohane, his biological father, abandoned him in a nursing home. The baby was then given to the Mchinji-based orphanage ‘Home of Hope.’
When Madonna adopted David, she was still married to Guy Ritchie. As a result, he is David’s legal father.
David is said to have four sisters: Lourdes Leon, Madonna’s first biological child, and Mercy James, an adoptive sister, and twins Esther and Stella Mwale.
David is also the brother of actors Rocco John Ritchie and Rafael Ritchie.
David is sexually straight, as previously mentioned, as there have been no rumors of him being gay.
Aside from that, David has always been a huge football fan. He began his preparations when he was a child. He afterwards moved to Lisbon to finish his training at the ‘Benfica Academy.’
In 2018, Madonna supported her son at a match for the Benfica Youth team. On the ground, David showed off some incredible skills. The league was won by ‘Benfica,’ a Portuguese side, and David was selected best performer in the ‘Under-12’ category.
