Thirty years after the disappearance of Dail Dinwiddie ,the search over her whereabouts is still on going. the 23 year old young lady went missing in September 1992 after a night hangout with friends at the U2.
The news about her sudden disappearance was announced when the father found out she never returned the next morning and he immediately reached out to her friends, none can actually specify her whereabouts, this prompt her father to notify the cops and till date investigation is still on going.
In the early morning hours of September 24, 1992, Dinwiddie a 23 year old art student disappeared from the Five Points region of downtown Columbia, S.C. after getting separated from her friends at a bar.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Palmetto State’s capital city, Five Points is a hip dining and shopping district located just east of Columbia’s city center. At night, its bars become a hub of the city’s nightlife scene – not to mention a favorite drinking destination of students at the nearby University of South Carolina.
In recent years, Five Points has become increasingly dangerous in the evenings – but back in the early 1990s it was still considered a relatively safe environment.
Regardless, no one has come up with any information that may provoke her. Along similar lines, no one knows what has occurred to her up to this point. It’s unclear if she went missing recently or was murdered. Hopefully, this brings some closure to her family.
