Pep Guardiola did not renew his contract for the 2020/21 season, and it was agreed that he might leave at the ending of the season. His contract was extended until 2023 when a new arrangement was reached.
Pep Guardiola’s contract with Manchester City will expire in 2023. As a result, many football fans are concerned about whether the football manager will be re-signed or whether he will split ways from the club.
In January, the football manager addressed that matter, focusing on the current season rather than his long-term future at the club: “I’m pretty sure I will quit when I’m not energetic and feel a little bit drained or tired.”
Guardiola joined Manchester City in 2016 after three years at Bayern Munich. He agreed to a three-year deal that would keep him on the team until 2019.
After a time of adjustment, he experienced domestic success in 2017/2018, with his club winning the league with almost 100 pints. With a year remaining on Pep’s contract, he agreed to a one-year deal that would take him until 2021.
According to the Sky Sports Premier League report, Pep Guardiola has agreed to a new contract that would keep Pep at the Etihad until 2025.
Guardiola improved his defense with the additions of Ruben Dias from Benfica and Nathan Ake from Bournemouth ahead of the 2020-21 season and adding Ferran Torres from Valencia to the offensive line-up.

As of now, Pep Guardiola has not reported any ailment and is in perfect health. He was tested positive for COVID-19 on 6 January 2022.
Alongside Juanma Lillo and other first-team players, Pep Guardiola was isolated for COVID-related reasons.
Rodolfo Borrel confirmed “Pep Guadiola is fine. We are permanently in touch and communicate by call. He has the virus, and he hasn’t got a lot of symptoms.”
After eight days of self-isolation, Pep Guardiola recovered from the COVID-19 by 14 January 2022. At present, he is outstanding and appears to be in a good state of health.
