Jane Morton Death – We are extremely devastated to announce the death of Jane Morton, the KFMB Weekend Assignment Desk Editor and former San Diego reporter who suddenly passed away at the age of 60.
Her husband Jim also worked in Radio. Jane had a twin brother, who was a teacher in China. She was born in England and lived in Escondido. I last spoke to her Sat. May 14 before she went on leave, and we still don’t know how she passed, but she is dearly remembered for her candor, excellent news judgment and genuine heart of gold.
