Janice was found dead in the parking lot of an office building shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

This tragic occurrence was happened in a Monday in a car along South Sherwood Forest Boulevard near its intersection with Newcastle Avenue, afterwards, Earl Lee Johnson Jr was arrested on one count of first-degree murder.
Janice David, 34, of Baton Rouge, has been identified as the victim. The nature of the couple’s relationship was unknown at the time.
Based on their interview with Johnson, other evidence was uncovered by detectives.
Police spokesman Lt. L’Jean McKneely said Tuesday that detectives believe the two used drugs heavily in the days leading up to Monday’s attack.
