Jason Griff Drops “Rage” as first single for “Fireside Chats” album.
Growing up in the far suburbs of Chicago, Jason Griff spent his influential teenage years travelling all over Northern Illinois to attend both indie hip-hop and punk rock shows alike. The mecca of all punk shows however, was the Fireside Bowl at 2648 W. Fullerton Ave in Chicago. The converted bowling alley shaped Griff’s taste and passion for independent music and somehow led him on the path to make rap beats.
Inspired by that time of his life, Jason Griff has created Fireside Chats, a punk rock inspired album produced entirely by Griff featuring a who’s who of your favorite rappers including Scorcese, billy woods, Alex Ludovico, Juganaut, Curly Castro, Premrock, Alaska (of Atoms Fam), Zilla Rocca, Defcee, Skech185 and more.
“Fireside Chats” will be released Friday, May 21st. This release will be available on all streaming platforms along with a limited pressing of CDs and cassettes.
The first single “Rage” feat. Alex Ludovico, Juganaut and Alaska is out now, featuring three diverse and extremely talented artists spitting over high-energy guitars and hard hitting breaks.
