Hov said ‘sike.’ A day after setting the internet ablaze with the launch of his new Instagram account, Jay-Z is now nowhere to be found on the popular social app.
The 51-year old rapper seemingly opened an account just to promote Netflix’s new film The Harder They Fall, which he co-produced. During his brief stint on the gram he amassed over one million followers on the platform including a rare follow from his wife, Beyoncé.
This isn’t the first time Jay-Z will be deleting his Instagram page shortly after launch. Back in 2015, the New York Daily news reported that the Roc Nation founder joined the social media platform with the name ‘hovsince96,’ posted a Michael Jackson tribute, and then deleted his unverified account a few hours later.
It’s uncertain what promoted his sudden disappearance this time, but Twitter has theories.
