John Michalski was a know Supreme Court Justice, who is reported dead recently by suicide at the age of 61.
After his death, investigation was carried out by the federal team, and report shows that Michalski and his wife, Susan Michalski, were cooperating with authorities.
On Tuesday Judge John Michalski of the New York State Supreme Court was discovered dead at his residence. Terry Connors, his attorney, verified the news to the media.
John and Susan Michalski have been cooperating with officials for some time now, as agents from numerous agencies raided his Amherst house a month ago.
When the investigators searched the couple’s house last month, all they found was some stock for Susan’s home-based online business. The company specialized in consignment clothing.
Last year, News 4 reported that federal officials had questioned Michalski about his interaction with Peter Gerace, who was the owner of Pharaoh’s Gentlemen’s Club in Cheektowaga, a club raided by cops in December of 2019.
It is also reported that Geraces and the Michalskis are good friends, and a marriage license states that Michalski married Geraces’ former wife, Katrina Nigro, in September 2014.

John judicial career started in 2006. He was first appointed to the state Court of Claims and then to the state Supreme Court as an acting justicez before that he worked as an Amherst town prosecutor. He has also worked for the Erie County District Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor.
John is reported to have earned a salary of around $210,900 to $350,000. And on top of that, Susan was also running an online business for some extra money.
