With Kim Kardashian now reportedly dating Saturday Night Live comedian, Pete Davidson, Kanye West is starting to feel the pressure and he’s praying for a Godly intervention.
While performing philanthropic duties at Skid Row on Wednesday (November 24), the artist now known as Ye spoke to the crowd (unprovoked) about his shortcomings in his marriage with estranged wife Kim Kardashian.
“The narrative that God wants is for you to see that everything can be redeemed,” Ye said Per Page Six. “In all these relationships, we’ve made mistakes — I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband. But right now today, for whatever reason — I didn’t know I was going to be standing right here. I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic, but I’m here to change that narrative. I’m not letting E! write the narrative of my family. I’m not letting Hulu write the narrative of my family.”
Ye believes God can-step in and repair his marriage because he alleges that a KimYe reconciliation would inspire millions of couples dealing with divorce and separation to do the same.
“If the enemy can separate Kimye, there’s going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is ok… but when God brings Kimye together, there’s going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store.”
As previously reported by Creative, West admitted during an appearance on Drink Champs that he wasn’t divorced from the mother of his four kids and he wants them to be together.
“That ain’t no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together,” he said. “I want us to be together.”
Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from him in February after seven years of marriage.
