Kanye West Asked Donald Trump To Join Him On Stage At ‘DONDA’ Event

Kanye West raised a few eyebrows when he brought out DaBaby and Marilyn Manson at his Donda listening event in Chicago, but according to reports that wasn’t the only controversial surprise he had up his sleeve.

The polarizing rapper reportedly invited former US president Donald Trump to also appear with him on stage at his third DONDA listening experience in his hometown of Chicago.

“Kanye reached out to Donald Trump’s team to get the former President to make an appearance alongside him and join DaBaby, Marilyn Manson, and Kim Kardashian in Chicago,” a source tells Radar Online.

Kanye West, who recently filed to change his legal name to Ye, was a vocal supporter of Trump and even met with the former US president at the White House in 2018.

“Kanye is not afraid of controversy. Why else would he invite DaBaby after he spewed homophobic remarks and Marilyn Manson, who has been accused by several women of sexual assault?” adds the insider. “Getting a former President to help sell his new album would have been huge for Kanye, who was a big supporter of Donald Trump. As far as Kanye is concerned, all press is good press.”

Kanye would have reportedly brought Donald Trump out during the performance of Jail Pt. 2 featuring DaBaby.

DaBaby became the latest victim of cancel culture following his homophobic comments at Rolling Loud. The derogatory comments got him banned from several high profile music festivals including Governor’s Ball and Day N Vegas.

DaBaby has since apologized for his “inaccurate and hurtful comments.”
