Kanye West is trying to get Drake to narrate his life’s journey.
In a now deleted post shared on his Instagram page late Monday night (February 7), the rapper now called Ye said “DRAKE WANNA NARRATE THE DOCUMENTARY,” in reference to his forthcoming Netflix documentary, Jeen-Yuhs.
“I need Drake to do the narration,” he wrote in a text message conversation about the film.
Kanye West may not have full creative control over the direction of the documentary, however it appears Drake is down with the idea if the directors are up for it. The Toronto native seemingly signaled his approval by liking the post.
The documentary is set to hit select theaters February 10, which makes Ye’s request improbable, but it’s Ye and crazier things have happened. Directed by Coodie and Chike, Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy documents West’s journey through the years, “showcasing both his formative days trying to break through and his life today as a global brand and artist.”
The film is divided into three parts with the first premiering February 16 on Netflix.
Regardless of his situation with soon to be ex-wife, Ye remains in high spirits and was recently seen in LA partying with Travis Scott and a Kim K doppelgänger.
Kanye is also scheduled to drop his new album, Donda 2 on February 22.
