Update: Confirmed by the man himself. A third listening party for DONDA will hold next week at Chicago’s Soldier Field. You hyped?
Original Story: Here we go again. Kanye West will reportedly hold another listening party for his often delayed album.
The rapper has already held two listening sessions for the elusive album at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and according to new reports, a third listening party has now been scheduled to take place in his hometown of Chicago next week.
A fan who claims to work in security at Soldier Field says a third listening party for “DONDA” has been booked for Thursday, Aug. 26 at the arena.
“I’m very confident that it’s for Kanye’s listening party,” he tweeted.
DONDA was originally supposed to come out on July 23rd, and then August 6th. It’s no longer news it never dropped in those dates. Hopefully three is the charm.
Speculations of the album being shelved started making the rounds when legendary producer Mike Dean sent out a series of now-deleted cryptic tweets that suggested he was done with the “toxic” environment that surrounded his work relationship with Kanye West.
But Dean denied the rumors saying he hasn’t “quit anything.”
“I haven’t quit anything,” he tweeted. “The album continues. People read too much into tweets.”
According to Apple Music the album will arrive Sunday (August 22).
