The Bronx rapper began her promo run on (April 9) with an interview with Ebro on Hot 97. During the 48-minute session Bardi talked about her pregnancy, motherhood, investing $300,000 of her personal money into her coachella set, her relationship with Offset, working with Chance The Rapper and more.
Next up, Cardi appeared on The Breakfast Club with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God to discuss why she chose to keep her pregnancy a secret, abortion, collaborating with Beyoncé, ghostwriting allegations and more.
She then moved over to Sway In The Morning where she discussed her writing process, why she doesn’t want to start her own label, the meaning behind Invasion Of Privacy and financial lessons.
Bardi unofficially ended her busy few days with an appearance on MTV’s TRL, which was co-hosted by her younger sister, Hennessy Carolina. The special episode included a live Q&A, a video message from DJ Khaled, Cardi revealing what it was like to meet Beyoncé and Jay Z for the first time, and Offset’s proposal.
