Kyle Honore Death – We are extremely saddened and devastated to announce the death of Kyle Honore, a Wingate University freshman student-athlete, who has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a train near campus Tuesday night in Union County, North Carolina.
Kyle Honore, who played for the university Bulldogs men’s basketball team, died after being struck by a train Tuesday night in Wingate.
Kyle Honore was killed in a train-versus-pedestrian collision around 10:45 p.m. near the entrance of the university.
Kyle Honore was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead fo blunt force trauma injuries.
