South African based Zambian producer/rapper PatrickxxLee has seen his life go from 0 to 100 real quick.
From dropping out of Uni to finding a new leash at life mainly thanks to a few connects in Lagos. I got introduced to Patrick on Milli’s Don’t Ask Me What Happened EP and I was sincerely impressed with his verse on “Animals After Dark.” I tried getting more of his work from the internet but i kept looking at the wrong places.
Patrick been cooking officially for at least two years now and is ready to take his buzz to the next level. He recently dropped two new singles that finally got sent our way.
On the first song titled Phonerotica featuring J Molley, he gets really explicit with his words giving props to the ladies that keep our phones lit with nudes (something i can relate to). “Caption say she miss me but the photo say let’s fuck” he sings on the song’s hook. You probably shouldn’t listen to this at work or if you got kids around.
His most recent release is more vibey and tailored for the clubs and not as out there as the first but it’s still NSFW. The song titled Punk Shit features rap duo Champagne69.
PatrickxxLee is ready to shake up Jozi’s underground hip hop scene with his unorthodox sound — How far he goes with it depends entirely on him.
