Logan Meerkatz Death – We are extremely saddened and devastated to announce the death of Logan Meerkatz, of Cleveland, Missouri, alongside Clay Palmer, 19, of Cleveland, Missouri, and Ryan Chick, of Cabool, have been identified as the victims in a Thursday triple-fatal vehicle crash in Cedar County.
Ryan Chick, Clay Palmer, Chick and Meerkatz, both 18, were all killed in a vehicle crash near Jerico Springs Thursday afternoon.
Clay Palmer was operating a vehicle on State Highway B in Jerico Springs, when the vehicle went airborne after cresting a hill Thursday afternoon. The vehicle then exited the roadway and rolled over.
The three teens were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
A fourth passenger, Bradley Kidwell, of Cabool, was transported to an area hospital with moderate injuries.
According to officials, Kidwell was the only one wearing a seatbelt.
