Lt. Mark Andrew Bruning Death – We are extremely devastated to announce the death of Lt. Mark Andrew Bruning, 47, who was found dead inside his home in Logan County Thursday night, July 28, 2022.
Lt. Mark Andrew Bruning died and was discovered inside his Crescent residence.
No foul play is suspected, say officials.
Lt. Mark Andrew Bruning cause of death was not provided as of Friday morning.
No further information was provided.
In 2013, Bruning made local headlines and he was terminated for an incident at a Mumford & Sons concert. Later, an arbitrator ruled the City of Guthrie wrongfully terminated him. The arbitrator ruled he return back to the department in the same position (lieutenant) when he was terminated and back pay. The ruling also stated Bruning was suspended for six months without pay, at the time.
