John Hinderscheid Death – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hinderscheid, 45, of Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Thielen Fausnaugh of Northwood, Iowa, have been identified as the victims killed in a Friday double-fatal vehicle crash in Worth County, Iowa.
John Hinderscheid and a 3-year-old Fausnaugh, were both killed in a multi-vehicle crash near Kensett, Iowa Friday night.
Maggie Joe Harvey, 24, of Northwood, Iowa, was operating a Chrysler Pacifica on U.S. Highway 65 near Kensett, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 10:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with a Toyota Avalon operated by John Hinderscheid.
John Hinderscheid was pronounced dead at the scene.
Maggie Joe Harvey was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
