Authorities detained a suspect in connection with the last week’s capturing killings in Hollywood of a man and a woman with whom he had been dating.

The 32-year-old suspect, Marvin Francell Williams, was located by the Los Angeles Police Division on Wednesday in Hesperia.

Ajani Patridge, 40, and Nadia Campbell, 35, are alleged to have been fatally captured by Williams. According to the LAPD and the office of the LA County coroner, the pair was shot around 11:15 p.m. on June 16 at Carlos Avenue and Gower Avenue and died at the scene.

At the time of the shooting, Campbell’s three younger children were in a nearby car.

According to an LAPD statement, “The suspect was in a relationship with Campbell, and this incident involved home violence.”

On Wednesday about 6:30 p.m., Williams entered the back passenger seat of a car in Hesperia. The car was halted by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Division not far from Escondido and Central avenues.

When LAPD came, they apprehended Williams, put him into arrest, and took him to the Olympic Neighborhood Police Station.

He was taken into custody on homicide suspicions and jailed without bond. There is no scheduled court date.
