Tony Baker is a rising star, who is pulling the spotlight on his skills as an actor and stand-up comedian.
Tony has many many remarkable works, that he is known of, which includes, been on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Comedy Central’s “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution,” CBS’s “Comics Unleashed,” and Starz’s “StaannDUP!” and Aspire’s “We Got Next.”
Tony’s creative ideas were brought to the surface while attending New Mexico State University, where he wrote and directed films alongside his classmates for sheer joy, as his love for acting keeps growing.
Tony is honed his comedy abilities by presenting pageants, talent showcases, and fund-raising events on the NMSU campus.
Tony made his first debut in the University production of “Of Mice & Men,” where he won his first acting prize, he established a passion for theater as an actor.
Tony has performed at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal for two years and was a part of NBC Diversity at NACA Nationals.
Tony works at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Comedy & Magic Club, The Ice House, The Hollywood Improv, Flappers Comedy Club, and The Comedy Union as a paid regularly.
He’s performed in clubs around the country and overseas in Dubai, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, and Japan. Tony has also appeared in projects such as NBC’s “The Carmichael Show,” Amazon’s “Just Add Magic,” and the Academy Award-winning film “Whiplash.”
Tony’s family went through a tragedy last year when his 21 years old son was murdered in a vehicle accident, which involves street racing, in the terrible Southern California collision, he was one of two people murdered.
NBC 4 reported that, Cerain Baker was traveling in a car with Jaiden Johnson, 20, and Natalee Moghaddam, 19, when they were hit by a motorist who had been street racing at 11:30 p.m.
According to witnesses, everyone died when their automobile was hit by two other cars that seemed to be in a street race. Multiple murder charges have been filed against the 19-year-old motorist who caused the accident.
On the other hand, Tony Baker was seen in action less than a year after his son was killed.
