St. Louis Park police stated that, officers from numerous agencies worked together on Tuesday to apprehend persons. They were attempting to exploit Minors sexually.

The criminal complaint states that, officers advertised prostitution services on several websites as part of the operation. Selim corresponded with an undercover investigator who pretended to be a 15-year-old girl.
Mohamed attempted to set up a meeting with the undercover officer acting as the girl, and when told that she was 15, he said, “Ok, that’s good.”
According to the report, he stated her age made him nervous, but he’d still see her so they “could spend some time,” according to the report.
Selim was detained when he came for the meeting. Selim was distressed and stated that his life and career were finished according to the allegation.

Four males, including Eagle Ridge Middle School Principal Mohamed Selim, were arrested during the operation, according to the St. Louis Park Police Department.
They were apprehended by undercover investigators connecting with persons who wanted to buy sex from a teenager.
According to authorities, this operation was part of a statewide coordinated response to reduce human trafficking and exploitation.
Three of the four males arrested were arrested and released, while Selim of Lakeville was detained “due to his position of authority working with minors.”
One of the users wrote, “Is that even a crime? Perhaps Mr. Selim was born that way, which is a lifestyle choice. Should he be criminally charged for loving minors? I mean, I’m told love is love, and people are free to love whomever they want.”
Whereas another user said, “I don’t fall for the “love is love” BS either.”
