The traffic accident had occurred on Bayshore Blvd involving John Barrineau, the 17-year-old driver of a Nissan Altima, and Cameron Herrin, the 18-year-old driver of a Mustang GT 2018, with his brother Tristan as a passenger.
Furthermore, Herrin completed college under house arrest with a GPS tagged to his ankle for the two years waiting for trial during the pandemic.
The then 18-year-old had no prior criminal record or traffic violations, including the day of the accident, since he obtained his license at 16. Moreover, he assisted with church work transporting necessities as and when required.
