It was reported that a girl claimed sexual assault and rape by the wrestlers, which caused the two University of Minnesota wrestlers to be brought into custody, in which the accuser had gone to a hospital for treatment later.
After their arrest, there was no enough evidence to back the proof, and both Gable and Dylan did not face any criminal charges.
The arrest made the wrestlers to be suspended from team participation by the University of Minnesota athletic administration. Meanwhile, once they got cleared of charges, they were able to return to team activities.

Wrestling fans want Gable to face consequences for his alleged acts in the past. And this has sparked a heated debate, with the majority of people favoring the cancellation of Gables while some want things to calm down.
The arguments started on social media because the case of Gable Steveson and Nash Carter are quite similar. Both of them were alleged of violent but were not proven guilty.
Gable was ruled out due to the lack of evidence of rape. However, Nash’s wife, Kimber Lee, who is also a wrestler, tweeted a photo of her face with some assault marks.
She stated on twitter, trying to express her feeling that, “Hello there, @WWENXT, This is my face after your tag champ @NashCarterWWE got inebriated and smacked me so hard in my face that he broke my mouth open.”
Kimber Lee then stated that she had kept this a secret for a year and even forgave her husband, but she could no longer keep it hidden.
Steveson is presently 21 years old, who was born in Portage, Indiana, the United States on May 31, 2000.
