Mukul commited suicide on Monday by injecting himself with an overdose of anesthetic, according to authorities.
Mukul Goyal was a renowned oncologist, allegedly killed himself at his home in Nityanand Nagar, Chitrakoot, by injecting himself with an overdose of an anesthetic medicine.
Police raced to the scene after getting information about the event and discovered him lifeless in his bedroom. Cops discovered a suicide note near the crime scene.
Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar stated that, an investigative expert also arrived on the scene and collected evidence. Goyal wrote in his suicide note that he is finishing his life and that he does not want anyone to be disturbed after his passing.
After coming back home on Sunday night, the doctor pumped a large amount of anesthesia. Assistant Sub-Inspector Bhanwar Lal said he was found dead in his bedroom with a continuous injection the next morning.
He said a crew from the Forensic Science Laboratory was dispatched to the death scene to gather evidence, and that the body was taken to SMS Hospital.
When Goyal’s personal assistance arrived at his home to handle household tasks at 12 p.m. on Monday, the event was discovered. She entered his room and dialed his number.
She became suspicious after getting no reaction from him and informed her neighbors and after that, Goyal’s neighbors called the cops. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and police are continuing their inquiry.
